BRIDGER SMITHERS – VETERINARIAN/OWNER
Dr. Bridger Smithers was born and raised in Atlanta, Texas. His love for animals developed quickly. At the age of seven, he chose to be a veterinarian like his father, Dr. Mark Smithers. After graduating LSU School of Veterinary Medicine in 2015 he practiced medicine in a busy 5 doctor, mixed animal clinic in northeast Texas for two years before moving to Arkansas to establish Smithers Animal Hospital in West Fork in May 2017. Dr. Bridger Smithers has generational roots in Arkansas and was eager for the opportunity to serve the NWA region. He with his wife, Andrea and son, Ezra are a big addition to our small community. He has two beautiful cats, Jack and Mosby, and one dog, Cruz, that hang out at the hospital everyday. Cruz a is two year old malti-poo that is fun and loving and serves as the mascot of Smithers Animal Hospital.
REBECCA HATCHEL – CLIENT CARE REPRESENTATIVE
Becca has always had an unspeakable love for animals. She was born and raised in south Fayetteville on an 800 acre farm. Her family raised cattle and they had a few horses. She is a mother of two and four fur babies. She is working on her Bachelors in Criminal Justice at the University of Arkansas. She has four passions in her life; her children, animals, art, and studying law. Her main focus at Smithers Animal Hospital is to make our clients and patients happy and healthy.
ASHLEY DASH-MILLS – LEAD VETERINARY NURSE
Dash is the lead veterinary nurse at Smithers Animal Hospital. She has 6 years of experience as a small animal veterinary nurse. She is motivated, compassionate, and always places the needs of her clients and patients first. She enjoys spending time with her husband and their ten fur babies. As an active ambassador to the global animal charity organization, Arm The Animals, her mission in life is to bring health and happiness to all animals.
SARAH WIMBERLY – PET CARE SPECIALIST
Sarah is the newest member of the Smithers Animal Hospital staff. As a pet care specialist, it is her goal to keep your pets in a clean, safe, and loving environment. She is excited to be here and hopes for many years of learning and establishing personal and professional relationships with all of our patients and clients.
SUMER BOYLE – CLIENT CARE REPRESENTATIVE
Sumer is an army wife and has been happily married to her husband Larry for 6 years. They have 2 children and enjoy spending time on their family farm. She has nine dogs, five cats, and a horse. She is very involved with her church and volunteers for their after school program on Wednesdays. She loves music, spending time with family and friends. Her goal is to make an easy and loving exchange for pets from their owners to being patients here at Smithers Animal Hospital.
PAYTON GASS – GROOMING SPECIALIST
Payton Gass is a proud local to our small town of West Fork. She is the grooming specialist at Smithers Animal Hospital. With over a year of experience, she is continuing to learn and grow in the field of grooming. She has three beagles, three guinea pigs, and one half blind cat. She is very active with her family and church. She loves the outdoors and photographing her pets and others’ pets. She loves animals and wants to make their experience here easy-going and happy.
